  When you need to purchase a $5 pack of diapers, be prepared to have your integrity questioned if you are using self checkout. I had a total of 6 items in my cart and my children were by me. I scanned everything, including the diapers. When I put the diapers in the bag and employee was there within a matter of a couple seconds and looked over my shoulder and asked if I had scanned the diapers. I said yes and pointed directly to the diapers on the list of scanned items. She said, okay, but looked at me quizzically. Then she proceeded to stand right by me. It was a little annoying but I brushed It Off. I noticed another employee looking over at her and they made eye contact. As I was on my way out that other employee asked to see my receipt. All my items were in two small bags and I asked if they checked receipts for all the items in the bag. She said, no, just the big items. She wouldn't look me in the eye. Then I replied, you consider a small pack of diapers a big item? And she wouldn't answer. So if you are brown, have more than two children with you, and do self checkout, be prepared with your receipt at the ready. You will be asked to show it.
